Many Bilkent alumni have moved to America for their education and careers. Did you know we have a Bilkent office in North America? It is located in the Empire State Building in New York City.

This web community is an effort to virtually connect far-spread Bilkentliler in a professional and social networking community. In addition, volunteers across North America are hosting events for Bilkent alumni, including dinners, receptions, brunches, lectures, holiday parties, and happy hours.

These events, as well as other news and announcements, are posted in this community. Other features include:

• The ability to search for Bilkent alumni living across North America and contact them via their posted information
• Personal profile building and friend listing
• Group organization according to city or region within N. America
• Career search function and job posting
• Monthly profiles of alumni and their careers & hobbies
• Blogs or art sites hosted by N. America alumni
• News and photos from Bilkent's campus
• Photo-posting and viewing features (see pictures from the events we've hosted!)
• Information on our charitable projects and online donating via credit card

If you are a Bilkent graduate or professor living in North America, please join us! Controls have been set to only currently allow those in North America or the U.K. to join, so please email Bilkent's NY office manager, Philien Langereis, if the alumni office was not previously aware that you are located in North America or the U.K. Please include your full name when you attended Bilkent, and your current address for verification.
